circa 1840 Gaudy Welsh Pearlware Jug

About the Item

circa 1840 Gaudy Welsh pearlware jug with double-S handle & bold spout. The whole with gadroon borders. Drapery & cornucopia are in cobalt underglaze with flowers of yellow & orange. The handle has tiny rubbed spots caused by hanging on the iron hook of a dresser. Old tag from "Loot" for $225 where most recent owner purchased it. Measures: 7" x 4.75" x 6.75" H.
