About the Item
Filomena, a Sicilian female steet vendor of lemons, inspired master ceramist Patrizia Italian to handcraft this stylish anthropomorphic pitcher in ivory-glazed ceramic with a matt finish. The nose and chin are superbly rendered in their dramatic profile, while the fleshy lips, stylized ears, and sinuous handle are accented with green enamel. Half lemons painted in bright yellow also adorn the pitcher's generously bulging body.
