The First Period Worcester porcelain teacup and saucer has a reeded French shape and is richly decorated with the Holly Berry pattern- a variation of the Hop Trellis pattern. Panels of purple plants alternate with berried foliage between borders of lilac diaper and gold herringbone and a lower border of white pearls on a bright turquoise ground. There are gilt dentil rims and the inside of the cup has flowers and berried sprigs below a gold band. Dimensions: Overall: 2 3/8 inches high x 5 1/4 inches wide; Saucer: 5 1/4 inch diameter x 1 inch high; Cup: 1 7/8 inches high x 4 inches wide x 3 3/8 inches deep.
