Monumental Yellow Ware Pitcher

A decorative pottery pitcher created by William Moorcroft for James MacIntyre & Co. in 1903. This pitcher is part of William Moorcroft's Green and Gold Florian line. In producing these wares, Moorcroft utilized a medieval ceramic technique of piping liquid clay onto an earthenware body to create designs in low relief.
