Royal Copenhagen Faience pitcher by Berte Jessen, 1960s A lidded pitcher from the Danish manufacturer Royal Copenhagen, designed by Berte Jessen, during the 1960s. The lid is marked with the original sticker, signed with initials from Berte and numbered with 343 / 3143. ( The pitcher is never used) The pitcher is marked by the mark of Royal Copenhagen, signed with initials from Berte and numbered with 434 / 3143. The measurement is 13 cm high, 14 cm wide and 10.5 cm deep. The weight is 412 grams Berte Jessen was an artist at Royal Copenhagen's faience and stoneware department under Nils Thorsson. She was one of the artists behind the well-known stoneware and faience series from the 60s and 70s.
