About the Item
Available today, this midcentury Brazilian Modern Rosewood decorative plate was designed by Tropic Art and made in Brazil circa 1960. Handcrafted from hard Rosewood (known as Jacaranda), the plate features a circular shapes with round edges. The rosewood is a deep, dark, rich tone with stunning natural wood grain. The manufacturing seal is at the bottom of the plate.
A piece like this will look awesome as a centerpiece on a dining table.

Tropic-Art was a prominent manufacturer of utilitarian pieces with a minimalist aesthetic during the mid-20th century. They primarily used high-quality Brazilian woods to produce their products on a large scale, such as Jacaranda, Imbuia, Pau Marfim and Caviuna.
