The organic rustic vintage Chinese country style serving tray, once a common item in most households can now add timeless appeal to modern interiors as a sculptural object, coffee table catch-all or serving platter. Well used in time but has wonderful wood patina adding character and style.. A tray like this would have been used to serve tea or food to friends and family gathered on traditional gathering. Today, these trays like this as serving platters or catch-all dishes for jewelry, glasses, and other accessories.
This tray has been well used, so much so that metal hinges have been added to reinforce the tray to add to it's structural integrity.
