Mid 20th century serving tray by Couroc of Monterey, made from phenolic resin and inlaid with wood and brass depicting a whale with a bird perched on its back and the sun in the sky. Phenolic resin is resistant to damage from alcohol and water. This beautiful piece is unique and whimsical. Beautiful craftsmanship with eye catching detail that is rare and eye catching.
