A very pretty 19th century glazed terracotta water pitcher, from the Provence region of southern France. Glazed inside and out in a delicious creamy beige, the exterior has been hand-painted with a simple but classic design of red flowers. A handle and pouring spout complete the practical and unfussy design of this lovely jug.
