Bennett Bean Large Scale Ceramic Vessel With Butterfly Accents
About the Item
Large earthenware ceramic open vessel created by Bennett Bean of Blairstown, New Jersey. Piece has a wonderful finish which includes hand painted areas along with smokey, black areas created by the pit firing. A natural crack, occurring in the firing, has been decorated by the artist with golden butterfly detailing. Measuring 14" in height by 10.5" at its widest. In very good vintage condition. Unsigned.
