English Painted Orange-ground Creamware Teapot and Cover

About the Item

English Painted Orange-ground Creamware Teapot and Cover, Circa 1780 The rust-orange ground has incised markings to imitate leaves for the green and yellow flower heads found between a looping green enamel ribbon. There is some small loss to the green enamel as can be seen in the photos. The handles are double looped and are reeded with green leaf terminals. Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches high x 6 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches deep. (Ref: NY10313-prr)
