Monumental Green Glazed Stoneware Oil Jar

About the Item

A monumental Oil Jar or large floor vase in a green glaze. It was purchased out of the estate of a long time antique dealer's home. He collected Catalina pottery but this is more reminiscent of Bauer or Ohio Potteries like Roseville or RRP, Ransbottom. Large and heavy, the piece has age like first half of the 20th century. There is a spot of glaze loss or imperfection, near the bottom, pictured. Some nicks, craquelure and minor chips and imperfections, from age and use.
