Large Dutch mahogany and silver serving tray by Jacobus Schalkwijk, early 19th C An oval shaped mahogany serving tray with raised edge and Silver handles (Silver weights approx. 0,5 kilo) Made by Jacobus Schalkwijk, worked during 1818-1847, Rotterdam Silver Hall marks of the Silver smith Jacobus Schalkwijk, Lion 2 for 833/1000 purity of Dutch silver. Minerva head (office mark). The Year letter is in the serie letters of between 1818-1834 (faded) The tray is in it's original condition The tray measures 9 cm high, 66 cm wide and the depth is 44,5 cm The weight in total is approx. 2100 gram.
