About the Item
Born out of a collaboration between Erin Hupp and the Caviar Co, this server is an intentionally crafted vessel for caviar. Inspired by the caviar pearl, our bespoke caviar server is versatile and elegant – made to be practical but stand out with its artfully crafted shape and tantalizing texture. Perfect for an intimate night in or as the centerpiece for a fabulous party, this server is multifaceted and can be used in a variety of ways depending on your needs and the look you want to achieve. You can use the server as a stacked set, with the bottom compartment holding ice and caviar, oysters or shrimp in the top folded compartment. You may also separate the pieces and use them simultaneously or separately to create a thoughtfully cohesive look. One of the beautiful qualities of ceramic clay is that it holds temperature; Ceramics can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer and will keep its cool while serving a chilled dish.
Ceramic artist Erin Hupp designs and creates bespoke, hand-crafted ceramics on her pottery wheel. From Michelin tableware to mirrors, her work achieves balance between function and form and has been described as organic and sensory. Erin has been creating her art, by hand, on her potter’s wheel for the past 25 years. Her art can currently be experienced at Californios, Nightbird, Sons and Daughters, Pasta Bar, Acquerello, Sorrel, and Stanly Ranch Auberge Resort. She has been featured in Business of Home, Luxe, Forbes and Design Milk.
