Set of 3 Postmodern Origami Trays by Tair Mercier

About the Item

The French duo of Judith Tair, a fashion designer, and Philippe Mercier, an art director, are the creators behind a line of whimsical placemats and plates that were wildly successful in the 1980s. This set of 3 Origami plates are dated 1987 and perfectly capture what a piece of paper folded to use as a platter would look like. Plastic with embossed fold lines and marked on underside. In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Large is 15" x 15" x 3", two smaller are 11.5" x 11.5" x 2" each.
