19th Century Pair of Neoclasscal Silver Plated 4-Light Candelabra Hodd & Linley

This is a truly magnificent and highly distinguished pair of antique Victorian silver-plated five-light, four branch table candelabra by the renowned silversmiths Elkington & Co, Birmingham, bearing the Elkington mark with date letter for 1873. Each of these splendid candelabra features a stunning fluted stem with Corinthian Capital cast socket and detachable arms with four foliage cast branches, each terminating in a tapering socket with a further central socket. To add even more splendour to this superb pair, they stand on an impressive square shaped bases decorated with classical urns. The undersides of the candelabra bear the registration number 18123. The attention to detail is fantastic and they are certain to attract attention wherever they are placed. Condition: In really excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation of condition. This is a superb antique English neoclassical silver plated tray by the renowned English silversmith, James Deakin, circa 1870 in date. This rectangular tray features a deep set, decorative gadrooned border with elegant handles decorated with superb foliate and floral chased and engraved decoration of ribbons and garlands.
