Antique Silver Plated Hot Water or Coffee Claw Foot Pedestal Server or Urn

About the Item

This antique silver plated hot water or coffee urn has no maker's marks but presumed to have been made in England in circa 1890 in the period Victorian style. The bowl of this urn is nicely decorated with a graduated ribbed design which is replicated on both the claw foot pedestal base and the lid. The side handles are mounted atop an ornate grape and leaf patterned motif and there is an engraved armorial shield on the front.
