Gorham & Co Aesthetic Movement Copper and Silver Tray

About the Item

Astonishing and precious this mixed metals tray is very rare, from American Aesthetic Movement inspired by the Japonism style. The base of the tray is of heavy copper with an original patina and ornated with delicate sterling silver decorations, figuring a tree and fishes in relief, with a wonderful technique. It is in good condition without any loss. Signed Gorham and Co on the back with the symbol of the 1889 manufacture year.
