About the Item

A fine Italian champagne service for six from the Collezione Italia Navigazione, a fleet of Italian luxury passenger ships that operated in the 1920s and 1930s. Featuring a fitted chased top over a circular deep footed bowl with opposing handles, of alpaca silver plate, with spaces for holding six champagne flutes and one bottle of champagne. The base with impressed insignia for the cruise ship line - a design of a crown over a C with an entwined rope The six glasses are part of the service Measurements: Overall (without glasses): height 8 1/2 inches x width x 14 1/2 inches x diameter 12 3/4 inches Champagne flute glasses height 9 inches x base diameter 3 inches Middle opening accommodates a bottle up to 3 1/2 inches diameter The openings for glasses are 2 1/4 diameter Note: There are two services available - Please enquire if you would like to purchase the pair.
