Large Barker Ellis Antique Silver Plated Serving Tray with Floral Decoration
About the Item
This very large and substantial serving tray was made by the well known Barker-Ellis Silver Co. of England in approximately 1920 in a Victorian style. This rectangular shaped tray is done in silver plate with applied floral decoration around the outer rim, which is accented with stylized flowers and vines on the handles. The surface of the tray is ornately engraved with stylized scroll work and flowers with cross hatched accents. The tray is clearly hallmarked with the maker's mark for Barker-Ellis.
