Massive Silverplated Centerpiece Jardenier from Maison Odiot Paris
About the Item
Massive Silverplate jardiniere centerpiece made by Prevost, Recipon & Cie, circa 1894-1906, for Maison Odiot, Paris. Reticulated with acanthus leaf designs and adorned with ribbon tied swags centering a monogrammed medallion, with scrolling bellflower arms with grape clusters, and fitted with a removable insert. Underside stamped PR Cie with lamp mark, above Mon Odiot, Prevost Recipon & Cie. Insert with matching stamp.
