Pair of Georgian Old Sheffield Plate bottle coasters
About the Item
This very decorative pair of large Georgian Old Sheffield Plate bottle coasters feature an alternating border of shells and flowers connected with C scrolls. This decoration has been applied to the plate body. The wooden insert is walnut. They measure 175 mm (7 inches) in diameter and stand 42 mm (1 and 5/8ths inches) high. They are in very good condition and would date from around 1825.
