Rare table knife set with ebony handles, sterling silver ferrules and collars with fantastic decoration in the Renaissance style with mascaron. Both design and quality of workmanship are exceptional and its manufacture would have necessitated many more hours work than usual. Complete cutlery set comprised of two-piece place settings for 12, comprised of dinner and entremets/dessert knives. The blades are steel and are marked "CH. M Paris". No monograms. The set is presented in its original boxes. Undoubtedly, a collector's knives.
