Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Old English Pattern Salad Servers

An exceptional, fine and impressive, large pair of antique Victorian English sterling silver Old English pattern salad servers; an addition to our silver flatware collection
These exceptional and large antique Victorian sterling silver salad servers have been crafted in the Old English pattern.
The spoon has a plain rounded bowl and the fork has six tines.
The anterior surfaces of these Victorian salad servers are each embellished with the contemporary engraved crest of a swan crowned.
The reverse surface of the serving fork and spoon incorporates a pip to the terminal, in addition to a rounded heel to the bowl/drop.
Such salad servers in this superior quality and gauge are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
Condition
These antique Victorian salad servers are a superior gauge of silver, superior quality and in exceptional condition.
Full British hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
