About the Item
Being offered is a fine circa 1965 handwrought sterling silver flatware service by Old Newburyport Crafters, of Newburyport, MA, the 77 pieces in the superb Moulton pattern. The 77 pieces are listed below; the set can also be built - made larger - to add more place settings and place pieces if desired. The following silversmiths worked on this set: Roger R. Rowell; Gayden F. Marshall; James S. Harvey; and Daniel S. Morrill. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo below. Weighable silver (excludes knives) 92 ozs. In excellent condition. If purchased today from Old Newbury Crafters, the set would cost approximately $23,500.
