Exceptional Asparagus/pastry/toast server in sterling silver. The sophistication of this design and the quality of workmanship is typical of that of the Maison Coignet. The curved blade has pierced and engraved with foliate decoration. Art Nouveau decoration on the handle with iris. No monograms. This server is presented in his original box. Prestigious silversmith: Louis Coignet. 20 rue Barbette, Paris was active from January 14, 1893 to January 17, 1928. Measures: 10"6 (26.8 cm). Weight: 154 grams. Total weight with original box: 569 grams. The condition is very good to excellent. Micro-scratches from normal use. A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing. Rare model with iris.
