The pieces of this exceptional vintage American silver flatware set for six persons have been crafted in a plain angular form, reflecting the Classic Devon pattern. The surface of each handle is plain and unembellished in the iconic design style.     "Antique 1936 Reed and Barton number X610 sterling silver 925 tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl set, trimmed with bands of swirling leaves, and engraved with the initials CMC. “The Reed & Barton story began in 1824, when Isaac Babbitt created a new metal alloy - ""Britannia metal"" - in his Taunton, Massachusetts pewter shop. Babbitt joined forces with craftsmen Henry G. Reed and Charles E. Barton to produce this innovative, higher quality pewter ware.
