Fountain pen, Ballpoint pen and tray for a Desk Set green enamel Salimbeni
About the Item
4640-5320 - Rectangular tray with rounded corners in 925/1000 sterling silver with translucent fired enamels on guilloché, cm. 9 x 17.5. For fountain pen (4568-5201) with two-tone stripes with 18k gold nib and ink cartridge and for ballpoint pen (4301-4857) with two-tone stripes with Sheaffer refill or similar. Measurement of each pen diameter mm. 10.5, total length cm. 14. Total silver weight gr. 247 Designed by Giorgio Salimbeni in 1974 and produced in numerous examples of different enamel colors at the Salimbeni company headquarters with workmanship by skilled craftsmen, with very thick slabs and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamelling firings at approximately 750 < 800° C.
