Important Set Of 126 Pieces Of Cutlery In Sterling Silver By L.LAPAR
About the Item
Magnifique ensemble de couverts en argent massif 950, poinçon Minerve, à décor d'entrelacs et de coquilles soulignés par un filet. La qualité de cet ensemble est évident dès qu'on prend en main les couverts tant ils sont épais et d'une grande qualité de ciselure. Le modèle est rare, très élégant avec sa coquille très bien dessinée. Le revers est gravé par deux lettres stylisées et entrelacées : " L D ". Léon LAPAR, le Maitre- orfèvre exerçait à Paris de 1878 à 1897. Il succéda à la maison TÉTARD. Son gendre, Georges FOUQUET-LAPAR lui succèdera en 1897, transformant le nom de la maison en FOUQUET-LAPAR.

Le coffret comporte deux compartiments comprenant les couverts à poisson d'une part et les grands couverts d'autre part. Le reste n'a pas de coffret.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Les dents des fourchettes sont en très bon état, bien pointues. Le corps de chaque pièce permet une prise en main parfaite, le corps est épais et permet d'absorber un bon appui.
