Edwardian sterling silver gravy boat. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore, ca 1940. Ovoid with helmet mouth and raised oval foot; dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast leaf-capped and -mounted high-looping handle with low-relief flowers. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1932-61), no. 278F, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Weight: 9.6 troy ounces.
