Large Mid-Century Modern Mexican Sterling Silver Aztec Calendar Wall Charger
About the Item
A good, large, Mid-Century Modern Mexican Sterling silver (probably Taxco) Aztec calendar wall charger, 1960's.
The charger of large size and weighing over 14oz (397 grams) of sterling silver, depicting the Aztec calendar with an Aztec sun mask to the center surrounded by Mesoamerican symbols, all the decoration is done by hand-hammered repousse work.
Condition is Excellent, the charger is stamped "Sterling Made in Mexico" on the reverse edge and has a fixed hook so the charger can be wall mounted.
