A rare English silver cigar punch/cutter, hallmarked for Birmingham 1954/55
About the Item
This rare and beautifully designed small item of silver is made in two parts. The upper stem is a slide off cover with a ring fitting which when removed exposes the engine turned spring loaded plunger which is designed to be pressed pushing the hollow tubed blade down to produce a neat hole in the end of the cigar ready for smoking.
This very interesting and novel piece would add interest to any silver collection and it would be difficult to find another example in this condition. Hallmarked Birmingham 1954/55 with a maker’s mark W.M.Ltd
