About the Item

Head of Minerve first titre on the liquor cups and on the decanters for 950/1000 French sterling silver Vermeil guarantee. The quality of the gold used to recover sterling silver is a minimum of 750 mils (18-carat). An extremely rare French sterling silver liquor set 14-pieces, it's a production of 18-carat gold, crystal and sterling silver luxury, all pieces have the fabulous Rococo pattern. This complete set is with its original case with compartments for each piece. The set includes two decanters in cut crystal engraved, 18-carat gold and sterling silver and twelve cups with cup holders in 18-carat gold and sterling silver and twelve original engraved crystal glasses. No monograms. Overall with more than a hundred years of age, the service seems to have not been used. An exceptional set from the point of view of its design and particularly the quality of engraving and decorations on the crystal. Its manufacture would have necessitated many more hours work than usual. Undoubtedly collectibles !! Prestigious silversmith: Henri Hage 130 avenue de Clichy in Paris. A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing. Only the outside of the original box shows some signs of its age.
