Set of 4 sterling silver coffee spoons by Hester Bateman, London, c.1775. Attractive engraving repeats on the back as well. These are a design well known in her silver. They only have the sterling purity guarantee & her mark, not unsual for small pieces. The rather baroque pattern, repeats front & back. Never monogrammed. 1.30 troy oz.
