    A spectacular set of three silver trophy cups in the George III style, one larger and a pair of smaller. Each has a removable lid with hand-chased acanthus leaf detail, a decoration which is also found round the bodies, and cast finial. The handles are realistically cast as sinuously entwined snakes, the heads of which are holding rings that appear to be supporting hand-chased drapes that hang round the body of each cup. The insides are gold-plated with a wonderful rich colour. This set is of the most tremendous quality with finely detailed decoration and substantial weight to each piece.
