Fabulous antique 19th century French sterling silver tea coffee spoons set six-piece. Each ornately decorated in Art Nouveau styling with Thrush pattern. Finished with 18-karat gold. No monograms. This set is presented with a box. In the "language of flowers", the Thrush (lily of the valley) signifies the return of happiness. Lily of the valley has been used in weddings. It was featured in the bridal bouquet at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. It has become traditional in France to offer lily of the valley on 1 May, tradition according to which a sprig of lily of the valley would bring happiness.
