Soufflot French sterling silver horn oyster forks set of 12 pieces with original box. Rare set of 12 pieces oyster or dessert forks with horn handles, sterling silver upper parts and ferrules. The set is presented in its original box. No monogrammed. Head of Minerve 2nd titre on the upper parts for 800/1000 French sterling silver guarantee. Prestigious silversmith: Henri Soufflot. 89 rue Turbigo - Paris, was active from April 14, 1884 to April 30, 1910. Patterns of Henri Soufflot were acquired by the prestigious silversmith Emile Puiforcat (Hermès) that perpetuates today the heritage of excellence of the company. Measures: 6"1 (15.5 cm). Weight: 231 grams. Total weight with original box: 510 grams. The condition is very good for this set. A visible split or two in the horn handles. Micro-scratches from normal use. A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing. The original box shows some signs of its age.
