About the Item
1930s Art Deco set of Twelve zoomorphic knife holders in silver plated metal.
Created by French cartoonist and illustrator Benjamin Rabier (1854-1939).
Well known for the famous French cheese advertising "The Laughing Cow" ( La Vache Qui Rit ).
Each bears a French goldsmith's hallmark of Pierre Devouge ( active from 1922).
Unfortunately, the box shown in the photos is not the original, but it will be included in the shipment.
