A 158 piece complete canteen of cutlery for 12. Comprising a 11 piece plate setting with 12 of each of the following - Large tablespoon (for soup), Hors d'oeuvre knifes, Hors d'oeuvre forks, fish knifes, fish forks, dinner knifes, dinner forks, dessert knifes, dessert forks, ice cream/ sorbet spoons, teaspoons. In addition, 26 serving pieces including soup ladle, salad servers, fish servers, and various other knifes spoons and forks for service. All fitted its original locking 5 draw canteen box. The reverse surface of each silver spoon and fork handle terminal is embellished with a fine and impressive contemporary engraved crest depicting a bugle-horn stringed. Each Trefid spoon and ladle features a prominent and impressive, classic rat tail ornamentation to the reverse of the bowl. The original Britannia silver forks have three tines/prongs; these are highly desirable.
