About the Item
Leaf is designed for service and presentation. It is produced from Solid Oak. It collects the juices of food to the canals on the surface. It is ideal for fish, cheese and meat presentations. Each tree is different in pattern, texture, color tone, and vascular structure. This difference allows each Ananas product to be born with a different identity than the other. Capillary wood cracks, wormholes, and environmental factors (seasonal deformations) that change the natural form of the tree are characteristics that reflect the naturalness of the tree. 100% organic oil with the “Fit For Food” certificate has been applied on the wood to preserve it. Awarded by Eurofins, the Fit For Food certificate is important for the production and testing of food contact products and is considered essential due to market demands.By nature, these organic oils are sensitive to chemicals, acidic liquids, cleaners, impacts, direct fire contact, friction, and high-temperature materials (cups, pots, etc.) due to their structure.
