Modernist Pattern Gold Plated Stainless Flatware Set of 92 by Reed and Barton
About the Item
Often called America's most glorious gold-plated flatware pattern, Francis by Reed and Barton is a true work of art. This 92-piece set features a geometric shape with each piece's central decoration featuring a beautiful Mid-century modernist pattern along each handle. The comes in its original fitted oak display case lined in purple velvet with a bottom drawer.
The set consists of:
24 teaspoons
12 dinner forks,
12 salad forks (which can be used for dessert, cake, etc.),
12 dinner knives (each having a stainless steel blade),
12 soup spoons,
12 cocktail forks
12 individual butter spreaders.
Measurements
Dinner knives measure 9 1/8 inches in length x 1 inch wide at the widest point;
Dinner forks measure 7 inches long x 1 inch wide at the widest point
Salad forks measure 6 1/8 inches long x 1 1/8 inches wide at the widest point
Soup spoons measure 6 inches long x 1 3/4 inches wide at the widest point
Teaspoons measure 6 inches long x 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point
Butter spreaders measure 6 inches long x 3/4 of an inch wide at the widest point
Cocktail forks measure 5 1/2 inches long x over 1 1/2 inches wide at the widest point
The total weight for the set is 99.30 troy ounces. The set is not monogrammed. Dark areas in photos are reflections, the set appears to be used rarely if at all.
