Rare Peter Holmblad for Stelton of Denmark Cylindra Line Oil & Vinegar Cruets

About the Item

A rare and unusual set of oil and vinegar cruets designed by Danish designer Peter Holmblad for Stelton. Holmblad was the director and lead designer of Stelton, his stepfather was Arne Jacobsen and it was Holmblad who asked him to design the Cylindra Line for Stilton. Constructed of turned stainless steel with a black plastic stand. The sprouts are of two different sizes to accommodate the oil and vinegar for pouring. Designed for ease of use and cleaning. The reason for the rarity was poor sales so few were produced.
