About the Item
Iconic Scandinavian flatware dinner set for 12 persons. 12 dinner knives, 12 dinner forks and 12 soup spoons. Designed by Norwegian industrial designer Tias Eckhoff circa 1960 and made by Dansk Knivevarefabrik/Lundtofte during the 1960s. Made from polished stainless steel featuring solid rosewood handles. East Indian type so not restricted by Cites. Measurements: Knife: 22 cm, Fork: 19.5 cm, Spoon: 20 cm. The price is for the set of 36 (3x12).

Tias Eckhoff is represented in various museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He was awarded the Lunning Prize in 1953. His designs won gold medals at the Triennale in Milan in 1954, 1957, and 1960.
