Transgrid wood tray - Set (Tauari - 3 pieces)
About the Item
The name TRANSGRID is the union of the words TRANSFORMATION and GRID. This junction created a third word representing the transgression of the orthogonal, regular and Cartesian geometry. The name translates the form of the trays that derives from the deformation of a hexagonal mesh, resulting in unique shapes and sizes for each one of the trays, but that together, side by side, reconfigure the initial grid. The Transgrid trays are made from a single piece of Tauari, a Brazilian wood cutted with a CNC router. After the cut, through a manual process of finishing and polishing, each tray is treated with vegetable oil and beeswax, in order to maintain the color and natural texture of the wood.
