Beautiful Vintage Giovanni Patrini Pewter Shell Wine Cooler

About the Item

A beautiful cast pewter champagne cooler designed by Giovanni Patrini (1931 - 1993) sometime in the last quarter of the 20th century. Patrini was a well know international interior decorator. The champagne cooler is designed in the shape of a shell with conch shell legs. The cooler is marked on the bottom: "Giovanni Patrini Per Atena", Atena apparently being the manufacturer. The cooler stands approximately 10 1/4 inches tall, 8 3/4 inches wide and 5 inches tall deep.

    Wear consistent with age and use. The shell is in very good vintage condition, no dents, bends or splits. Surface color is very good with some slight discolored spots.
