Outstanding quality pair of antique Victorian freestanding carved mahogany wine coolers having opened tops with a carved moulded edge, the insides boating the original lead lining. Incredible quality carved mahogany panels with baskets of flowers, attractive brass lions head ring handles standing on reeded carved fluted feet with original brass cup castors An exceptional showcase pair of first class quality. The design and high standard of craftsmanship suggest that they are by a leading cabinet maker of the period and are most likely commissioned pieces. They boast a marvellous colour and are in fabulous original condition. Dimensions: Height 63.5 cm (25 in) Width 76 cm (29.92 in) Depth 46 cm (18.11 in) Dated 1880.
