Pair of Late 19th Century Repousse Copper Wine Coolers
Pair of continental copper wine coolers or small jardinières, circa 1890. Made using the repoussé technique. Decorated with armorial cartouches. Cup shape with lion mask ringed handles to the sides, standing on a domed base. Rubbing to patina which has created highlights, very minor dents in line with everyday use.
