19th Century Walking Stick with a Black Forest Carved top Portrait of a Dog
About the Item
Fantastic antique walking stick, with a beautiful wood carved head of a dog on top. The stick is extra long in size, which indicates that the stick was used for long mountain hikes. The tip at the bottom is also weighted with iron. The dog's head is finely carved and has glass eyes. Including a brass clip, for displaying the cane on a wall. The stick is in good condition and has a nice old patina. Made in France, 1890-1900.
