A very impressive British stoneware bowl decorated in tenmoku and dolomite glazes by renowned potter David Leach (British, 1911 – 2005) and dating from the 20th century. The bowl of wide rounded shape stands raised on a thick narrow round unglazed foot with recessed base. The bowl has a fold back rim the outer body decorated in deep brown tenmoku glazes.
