Antique Wingender Pottery New Jersey Blue Decorated Stoneware Pottery

About the Item

A fine antique Bristol glazed stoneware pitcher. By the Wingender Pottery of Haddonfield, NJ. Of ovoid form with a narrow footed base, an incised & dated inscription and floral (tulip) decoration to the body, a molded foliate handle, and a coggled and striped design to the collar neck. Inscribed "Jac. Holcknecht 1907" to the belly. Simply a wonderful, rare New Jersey pitcher! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There are some open bubbles in the glaze. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Wingender Pottery Marks: Possibly an incised 'KO' to the base. Measurements: Height: ca. 9 3/4 in. Width (with handle): ca. 8 1/4 in. Depth: ca. 7 1/4 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
